Back to the storyline! I have been doing a lot of semi-true tales recently, if you didn’t know I do them sometimes to stall for time when I’m trying to figure out what to do with the story line :)

PS: I feel like I should have went with my initial instincts on this strip, this was what I originally planned to draw for ed in the last panel but I didn’t :\ I feel it matches his character much better, and I just like it a lot more.

A quiet anxiousness, clapping to himself waiting for the joke. Ah well… What do you guys think?

I lol’ed (if that’s the right spelling?) so hard when I saw Ed’s face on the 3rd panel… it’s like he’s begging her to say something like a joke… haha

In regards to your P.S.

I think you’re right. The sketch you ahve there in blue-pencils is MUCH more Ed. Before, when I read this strip for the first time, I remember being a bit underwhelmed by Ed’s face. It didn’t read well and it’s far too subdued for that guy.

Your gut knows what its doin’ bro. Don’t fight it.

Hm, I didn’t have any problem with the version in the strip, but I think the sketch is better, because it has just that extra level of charm, humor, and life to it.
