If you were banned for buying money, it’s probably NOT an error on their part, it’s probably someone who hacked your account, bought gold for real money on that account, and then transferred it elsewhere. Do you have your (free on the iPhone and maybe Droid, $1 on many other phones, or $6 physical version) authenticator?

my account just got hacked last friday -_- i’ve been calling/emailing blizzard nonstop since then. they ALMOST got it fixed yesterday but i spoke to two different blizzard people and they ended up overriding each others stuff so it kept getting reset and now its says they had to temporarily disable the account. so i get to be on the phone with them AGAINNN…..hope you get your stuff back soon though! switch over to FarStriders! It’s a really fun server :P Kyorra on Alli side or Vyrra Horde side XD

You should try out Champions Online! It has much better game play than WoW, and it isn’t as crowded!

Dude…it’s a hack! Don’t put in your password/info. If you look at the link, the website isn’t correct (they can’t even spell warcraft right). I got the same exact email. If you DID put in your info, you’d better call/email Blizzard, because otherwise, it could mean big trouble for you!

Same thing happened to me on WoW. The hacker farmed 15k gold on my account, but blizzard restored it and gave me some extra as well. Worked out really well for me.

I hope something similar happens for you.

Dude, that’s awful about your WoW account. My bf had issues getting his back when he lost his authenticator (which is a little better than having it get hacked, but still a pain in the bum) because he had to send them all sorts of paperwork, like a copy of his birth certificate and license as well as two or three different forms. But it all worked out in the end. Hopefully the same goes for you. If the two of us ever start playing again, we’ll look you up.
Also, loving the story arc! This is only the second time I think I have ever seen a guy apologize like this. Keep up the good work!
