I know it’s a little confusing having a comic strip with fictional characters as well as real people who look similar to them. I’m working on clarifying things. Till then…confusion abounds!

I thought the heart bubble was pretty clever myself :D I’ve got (what I think are) pretty awesome plans for August and Lola, hopefully it’ll be exciting and not exactly what you expected ;)

In due time, in my mind these two arcs are happening concurrently. If you look at the tea time strip you’ll see august and gramps in the background ;)

Personally, I kinda like the mystery behind the girl. It definitely adds a certain depth to a storyline when mystery is stirred into the pot. I hope Gramps turns August around and pushes him to her… lol the look on his and Gramps’ faces would be hysterical.

Lola is adorable. TOO adorable. In any other webcomic, I’d suspect her of being a serial killer. Here, I just suspect her of trying to find somebody to share her love of hot air ballooning with.
