I love Ed’s expression on the 5th panel. His eyes remind me of your dog.

Maybe the innocent is a better word for that. Or naive. Probably pure soul, without any back thought or bad deed. It’s just hard to tell something with one word. But it could be anything, the main point is that it’s made him really cute.

I think I read a story when I was younger about an ox and a gnat. It ended up with the bug getting mad because he wasn’t heavy enough for the other to notice him. This strip just reminded me of it.
