I recently got a box of “tropical flavors” it’s got “flavors” like “bananna” and “pina colada” …waste of a good popsicle if you ask me. My freezer is pretty much full of nasty yellow and white popsicles., cause we ate all the good ones. *Siigh*

Good news! By overwhelmingly popular demand (like six people, but they were really demanding), I have started to post sneak peeks of the strip for all my Facebook buddies to see! I’m going to (try to) post the first panel of every strip, or some other artsy thing onto the facebook page the day before it goes live here on the main site. Sweet! If you can’t get enough of Pajama Forest why not be a pal on Facebook :D

Purple’s only good on those hot days when you go to the freezer and realize you and your roommates have had absolutely NOTHING better to do in your life but to sit around and watch TV eating popsicles.

Then you realize just how delicious those purple ones are looking right about now. So you eat one. And later that day, you cry in a corner, realizing what you’ve just subjected yourself to. You gave into the enemy all for the sake of a cool refreshment.

I can’t believe I just typed all that.

Purple is always gross cause it tries to be grape, but comes off less like good grape juice and more like Dimetapp grape. Bleh!

In all honesty, the purple ones are okay…but they are kinda the red-headed step-shild of the freezie-pop family. I’ll eat them, but only when I have to.

Although I don’t really know what “Dimetapp grape” means, I know what he/she is talking about. Artificial grape flavoring always tastes kind of… different.
Take for instance “grape” Kool-Aid (everyone knows that taste, right?): It tastes like purple, not grape. You can’t really describe what the actual taste is other than purple. At least, my friends and I can’t.

Anyway, the most important thing I want to say is that red is my favorite. :)

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT MY HUSBAND DOES! Only he leaves all the green ones. I don’t think there even is purple in the ones we get… luckily, the green ones are the only ones I can stand to eat, so I’ve always got an ample supply of popsicles on the rare occasion that I want one.
