Ahh… Dorney Park in Allentown, PA. Me and my friends would actually call in sick to work to go. Amazingly enough we never got busted even considering we all worked at the same place.

Oo a park is always nice, at least when you don’t live in the oven that is Texas.

I dunno. I’m a terrible shut-in. So, probably just sit in my bedroom and play video games all day. Though I guess I could just spend the day at a park with a kite too, if the wind was good.

Video games are pretty sweet, I remember many a night spent grinding away playing Diablo II or World of Warcraft *sigh* good times…I might have to bust out some Diablo II one of these days. Anyway, I just haven’t had time to play a lot of them recently; might have to do something about that.

How much can I pay you to draw five-fingered characters? I couldn’t figure out what was driving me insane in the first frame til I realized the infamous missing pinky. Sigh. I know, it’s just me. Sigh twice.

But I LOVE your stuff, Evan! I visit every day, even on weekends which is the ONLY time I mourn for the loss of the weekday.

My perfect day playing hooky from work would be sitting outside reading because I like to read books in one sitting and books like Salvatore’s Drizzt series or Paolini’s Eragon (I’m an epic fantasy science fiction nut) takes me about 6-8 hours depending upon interruptions and snack breaks. Second best would be a day tromping through the woods with my dog. Depends on the season, weather and amount of active insect life. ;)

Hahaha, I know what you mean about Texas heat. I’d go outside and meet people, but I don’t wanna hang out in 1,000,000 degree heat.

I’m digging the comic. Just the other day my daughter got a kite and I spent way to much time trying to get it in the air on a day with no wind. We had a blast doing it anyway.

Yeah Person, you’re liable to melt and/or spontaneously combust in that kind of heat.

I lived in El Paso for ten months and found the heat almost unbearable (I’m originally from Wisconsin) then I got deployed to the middle east and wished for the cool air of Texas once more…. it reaches 98 degrees at 6 am over here

Whew mark, I guess I shouldn’t complain about the thousand degree heat in Texas if it’s two thousand in the middle east. *sweat*

i’d be there complaining with the tx heat with you… been here for almost 3 years now and have fully embraced the luxury of air conditioning and consciously choosing to not go outside when it’s “nice” out.

i like the new site and i always enjoy comics about not working. keep er up.

Eh, Illinois is worse. Not only does it get down to the -20s every winter, but the summers get in the 100-110 range too. Then, there’s those days in the fall and spring where you use the heater in the morning, the air conditioner from 10 till 4, then turn the heater back on again. Those 40+ degree temperature swings.
And yet, we still go to the park every chance we get.

Just started reading this today. And already I love it. I fly kites all the time. This is a very real problem for me! :)
